Definition for : Eurozone Public Offering of Securities
GLOSSARY LETTER
Eurozone Public offering of Securities (EPOS) are public issues of securities in the Euro zone. These Offerings are carried out under the European Prospectus Directive, which allows an issuer which has had a Prospectus approved in an EU member state to use the same Prospectus to place the securities in any other EU member state – the Euro zone in the case of EPOS – without having to go through the approval process a second time (the so-called "passport" mechanism).
